Before I get too ahead of things let me introduce myself. I’m Shelly, a skin and acne specialist, eyelash tech, owner, founder, and sole operator of Bohemian Beauty Lounge!
From a young age my passion for beauty and skin care was unmistakable. I always knew that this is what I wanted to specialize in. In October 2018, I graduated from Blanche Macdonald with a diploma in aesthetics; this is where my career began. I furthered my education by becoming a certified Eyelash Technician, and worked towards mastering my craft.
In March of 2019, Boheme Beauty Lounge was born. I was hungry for knowledge, and decided to juggle both my business in lash extensions while still working and gaining experience in the medi aesthetics field at a local clinic in Vancouver.
In the past two years, I’ve had the pleasure of working at some of the best spas and medical skin clinics in Vancouver. I’ve learnt from some amazing mentors; mixing cosmeceuticals with a holistic approach of looking at not only the external, but the internal factors to heal from within.
I have always had a vision of mixing relaxation, results, and a down to earth vibrant vibe to make a truly unique experience. I put these visions into play and spun them into the beauty lounge.
Integrity is so important to me, whether it be the health of your lashes, or your skin. What I believe in is bringing you beautiful results without compromising your natural barrier function or healthy lash growth. My promise to every client is to treat every concern as if they were my own. For me, nothing tops the feeling of healing someone's skin; or giving a muscle melting massage to ease the stress of today's word while bringing a genuine smile to my client's face. I have a strong passion for helping people feel and look their best, and excellence is something I will always be working towards.
